Ordering numbers with Numicon

Numicon is a great maths resource to use to get children to recognise numbers. Try this What’s in my tray? activity to help your child organise numbers 1-10.

What to do:

  • Find a tray to use as the base.
  • Make a grid with masking tape- 10 spaces.
  • Give your child the numicon pieces.
  • Can they order them from 1-10?
