Easter Egg Pom Pom Painting

by Amy Collins June 7, 2018

Create colourful artwork this Easter with this arts and crafts #WhatsInMyTray activity. Simply use some clothes pegs, some pom-poms and some paint to colour in your Easter Egg and give as a greetings card or use to create colour Easter classroom displays.

You will need…

2 F1 Gratnells trays
1 4×4 Gratnells insert
Different coloured paint
Multiple different sized pom-poms
Clothes pegs
A4 Paper
Felt tip pens

What to do…

1. Draw an egg on a piece of paper as your outline and place inside the bottom of one tray
2. Fill a 4×4 Gratnells insert with paint, pom-poms and pegs. We’ve used four different coloured paint, three different sizes of pom-poms and filled the final space with clothes pegs. If you wanted more colours or pom-pom varieties, you could use a different sized Gratnells insert, or two trays with inserts.
3. Pick up a pom-pom with a peg and dip it in the paint. Use this as your paintbrush to dab and create the design for your egg.

Health and Safety

As with all Gratnells What’s In My Tray Activities, you should carry out your own risk assessment and health & safety measurements prior to undertaking any of the activities with children.
